Default Problem when creating a new subdomain WWW

I'm trying to create a new subdomain WWW. The Guide instructs me to select the appropriate check box when adding a prefix WWW. However I'm getting an error: Some fields are empty or contain an improper value. I can add any other subdomain without any problems.

Lightbulb Creating subdomain of WWW not possible in plesk

    Hi Kovis,

Thanks for your question regarding your uk windows hosting account with us.

I'm trying to create a new subdomain WWW. The Guide instructs me to select the appropriate check box when adding a prefix WWW. However I'm getting an error: Some fields are empty or contain an improper value. I can add any other subdomain without any problems.
If I understand your question correctly - you are attempting to create a new subdomain called www.domain.com? I'm afraid this will cause issues with your primary domain name as WWW is added as a CNAME in the DNS for your primary domain name.

In contrast to the answer above - if you are attempting to add a WWW prefix in front of the subdomain, then this is possible by selecting the WWW checkbox and entering your subdomain in the subdomain entry box. I.E., if you want the subdomain subdomain.domain.com to be accessible via www.subdomain.domain.com you need to check this box.

If you need any more help, please do not hesitate to ask.
